The Complement to Interpretation of Xue Yiju's Epitaph

薛贻矩是五代后梁要臣,官至宰相。薛贻矩墓志的出土,为学界提供了不可多得的宝贵参考资料。但业已发表的薛贻矩墓志在点校方面多有疏误,直接降低了该墓志的利用价值。文章利用文字学、词汇学、文献学方面的知识,比照原拓,对薛贻矩墓志进行了重新审读,希望有助于晚唐五代史研究。

Xue Yiju is one of the most important chancellors in the Five Dynasties.He is the prime minister of the Late Liang Dynasty.The discovered epitaph of Xue Yiju offers us very important materials for researching.But the published recordings of Xue Yiju's epitaph have many errors,which reduce the using value of the epitaph directly.Using the knowledge of Character,lexicology and philology,compared with the original epitaph,we have a new check on the published recordings.We hope our research will promote the study of the history of Late Tang and Five Dynasties.
