摘要
我们曾发现,HEPES对流行性出血热病毒感染的组织培养细胞具有增强细胞病变(CPE)作用。为了进一步了解HEPES对其它病毒致细胞病变的诱导增强作用,本文选择在组织培养细胞内不易形成CPE的狂犬病毒进行实验观察。结果,狂犬病毒感染的BHK21细胞和Vero细胞经HEPES处理后均出现明显的CPE,且CPE能被抗狂犬病毒血清中和抑制。这一发现为建立以CPE为基础的狂犬病毒试验检测技术开辟了一条新的途径。 一、细胞 Vero细胞从ATCC引进;BHK21细胞来自美国泛里特军事医学研究所。
We have found that HEPES could enhance the CPE caused by rabies virus in cultured BHK cells or Vero cells. The infected cells were treated with HEPES 3-5 days post inoculation. Several hours later, polykaryocy-tosis aad networks-forming etc. appeared in the cell cultures. In contrast, no CPE was found in the untreated infective control cells or treated unin-fected control cells. The CPE could be inhibited by rabbit or horse anti-rabies virus immune sera. This is the first discovery that HEPES could enhance CPE in rabies virus infected cells. The application of this phenomenon needs to be further studied.
