刘曼卿是民国时期一位出生于拉萨、任职国民政府的、多才多艺的奇女子。1940年1月,刘曼卿女士第二次率"康藏宣传团"进藏,旨在宣传抗日,本文刊载的《西藏纪行》即是她二次进藏之作。她的《西藏纪行》除了宣传中央抗日政策,还较多着墨于沿途之山川地理、民风民俗等内容,对于研究民国时期中央与康藏地方关系、藏民族在抗日战争中的历史贡献、康藏地理、文化、风俗等有重要的历史价值。

Born in Lhasa,Liu Manqing is a legendary and talented lady of the Republic of China,who once held a position in the National Government of China.In January of 1940,she led a Kangzang Expedition to Tibet for the second time in order to publicize the policies of Anti-Japanese War.This article was written by her on the way to Tibet.It not only introduces the policies of Anti-Japanese War but also includes descriptions of local geography,traditions and customs,etc.which has important values for the historical studies about the relationship between the Central Government and Kangzang area at that stage,the contribution of Tibetan people in the Anti-Japanese War as well as the geography,culture and customs in Kangzang area.
