刘曼卿是民国时期一位出生于拉萨、任职国民政府的、多才多艺的奇女子。1940年1月,刘曼卿女士第二次率"康藏宣传团"进藏,旨在宣传抗日,本文刊载的《西藏纪行》即是她二次进藏之作。她的《西藏纪行》除了宣传中央抗日政策,还较多着墨于沿途之山川地理、民风民俗等内容,对于研究民国时期中央与康藏地方关系、藏民族在抗日战争中的历史贡献、康藏地理、文化、风俗等有重要的历史价值。

Born in Lhasa and once holding a position in the National Government of the Republic of China,Liu Manqing was a legendary and talented woman of the Republic of China,leading a Kangzang Expedition to Tibet for the advocacy of the policies of Anti-Japanese War in January of 1940.This article written by her on the way of the second expedition to Tibet not only introduced the policies about Anti-Japanese War but also recorded the local geography,traditions and customs she had experienced.These first-hand resources are very valuable to the research about the relationship between the Central Government and Kangzang local government,the geography,culture and customs of Kangzang area as well as the great deeds of Tibetan people in the Anti-Japanese War.
