Challenges and Opportunities of the Self-taught Higher Education Examinations in the Countryside during the Process of Urbanization

在农村城镇化的进程中,我国农村自学考试已获得了一些丰硕果实,政策和制度日趋完善、专业设置日益合理、社会助学工作逐步开展。但综合考察农村高等教育自学考试,其仍然是自学考试工作发展的薄弱环节,忽视了对实践技能的考核,缺乏有效的促考激励机制等。基于对农村自学考试发展经验的反思,以期分析高等教育自学考试在农村可持续性发展中的问题所在。

In the process of countryside＇s urbanization, the Self-taught higher education examinations in the countryside has achieved fruitful results and the policy and system is improved, major setting is more reasonable and social assistance study develops progressively. As for the overall situation, the Self-taught higher education examinations in the countryside is still the weak link, owning to lack of checking practical skills and of incentive mechanism to promote the examination. Based on the previous experience, we should rethink profoundly about how to develop the Self-taught higher education examinations in the countryside sustainably.
