江苏省属高校“男生危机”现象的剖析与对策

Analysis of the Phenomenon of "Boy Crisis" at Jiangsu Provincial HEIs and Its Countermeasures

近年来,江苏省属高校出现的"男生危机"现象逐渐凸现,生源性别比男小于女是普遍现象,耐人寻味的是此现象与全国男女出生性别比出现背反,究其原因,与男女生自身内部特点、现行的教育机制等外部大环境均有关联。问题的根治须从解决当前教育考试与选拔机制及人才培养模式存在着的弊端着手,在进一步改进与完善江苏的高考制度、针对男生的特质而扬长避短以及社会、家庭教育等方面综合治理来加以奏效。

In recent years, the phenomenon of ＂Boy Crisis＂ in Jiangsu provincial HEIs becomes obvious, i.e. the number of boy students are smaller than that of girl students. It is well worth noting that this kind of phenomenon is just opposite to the natural sex ratio in the whole country. The reason for this particular phenomenon is closely related to different natures and characters between boys and girls, and to the external environment such as existing educational system. In order to solve the problem, we should further improve and perfect college entrance examination system in Jiangsu, consider boys＇ nature and the society and family education should adopt boys＇ merits and avoid their weaknesses.
