摘要
介绍了用于虚拟现实的直流式六自由度电磁跟踪系统的实现 .系统以正交的 3轴发射源和 3轴探测器作为传感定位器件 ,以脉冲直流信号驱动发射源的 3轴分时发射 ,同时接收器 3轴探测到相应的 3组电磁信号和 1个空驱动时间段内的地磁信号 .控制器负责驱动发射、读取数据以及和 PC机的数据通讯 .详述了六自由度电磁跟踪系统的方位 (位置和姿态 )确定算法。
A 6 degree of freedom electromagnetic tracking system for virtual reality applications is described. The system employs a magnetic transmitter and a magnetic sensor, both with 3 orthogonal axes. A direct current pulse sequence drives the 3 axes of the transmitter to emit one after another. The sensor detects three groups of transmitted signals as well as the magnetic field of the environment, from which the position and orientation of the sensor with respect to the transmitter can be determined. A controller is designed for driving the transmitter, reading the sensor data and communicating with the PC. The calculation algorithm, error analysis and hardware implementation of the tracking system are discussed in detail.
