At present, MIS and EMS are constructed in many power supply bureaus in China. Because of the close relations between MIS and EMS, much investment could be saved if the two systems could be built integrally, and the functions of the two systems could be fully realized. Summarizing the integration of EMS and MIS for Taiyuan Power Supply, including the selection of system architecture, supporting platform, operating system, distribution of functions, database and development tools, wiring of network, hardware configuration and arrangement, etc., the superiority and concrete implementation of integrative construction of EMS and MIS are expounded.
