This paper deals with the constituents of single-pill combinations and suggestions for application as recommen- ded by the Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Hypertension of different countries. Through analyzing the impor- tance of blood pressure control for those high risk patients with high hlood pressure coupled with chronic kidney disease （CKD）, diabetes, heart failure, etc. the significance of single-pill combinations in improving adherence of those high risk pa- tients with high blood pressure, reducing adverse reactions and optimizing blood pressure management was clearly explained.
