The "Assorted Dish" of "Systems": Rethinking of An Introduction to Historiography

无论从教学实践还是从起源、内容上看,《史学概论》都是一门课程而不是一个学科。《史学概论》依附于史学理论而存在,史学理论的体系决定了它的体系。但该课程讲授基本理论的同时负有传授基础知识的任务,因此又带有一定的"拼盘"性质。故在内容上,应以"史学"为中心,各种历史发展理论包括唯物史观在内,均不宜全面展开。

An Introduction to Historiography is a course rather than a subject,from the perspective of teaching practice or origins or contents.It is based on the historiography theory,whose system determines its system.However,this course serves as an ＂assorted dish＂ as it bears the task of spreading basic theories as well as elementary knowledge.Thus,the teaching contents should be focused on historiographywith limited introduction ofall kinds ofhistorical development theories,includinghistorical materialism.
