An industrial test report on E-glass fibres with low boron oxide content

低硼无碱玻璃成分84-20F和84-21F的各项工艺性能均与无碱1~#成份相近,其产品玻璃球、玻璃纤维制品(纱、布和毡)的质量指标均达到无碱1~#水平,其电绝缘产品的性能也与无碱1~#属同一水平。这两种成分具有广泛的生产适应性。采用低硼无碱玻璃成分后,可以获得明显的经济效益和社会效益。

The technical performances of 84-20F glass and 84-21F, both are lowboron oxide containing E-glass, are close to these of E-glass of No.1 com-position. The quality of glass marbles, and glass fibre products and their in-sulation properties are at the same level as E-glass of No.1 composition.Sig-nificant econcomical and social benefits could be resulted by using thesecompositions which are suitable forvarious fibreglass production processes.
