Land Use/Cover Changes and the Regional Sustainable Development in China’s Northwest Arid

土地利用和覆盖变化是人类改变地表环境最明显的表现,土地利用/覆盖变化与区域的自然要素、社会经济因素存在密切关系,是区域可持续发展的基础。在中国西北干旱区,由于山地-绿洲-荒漠每个系统结构简单、生态环境脆弱、景观差异明显、对环境变化敏感等特点,因此区域可持续发展受到严重威胁。在介绍了LUCC概念和研究内容的基础上,综述了LUCC与区域可持续发展的关系。依据干旱区不同系统的自然环境特点,阐述了不同时期的LUCC与区域可持续发展关系,进而讨论了依据干旱区LUCC特点,实施区域可持续发展措施。

Land-use and land-cover change most obvious manifestations is the human changes the surface environ- ment, Land-use/land-cover change with the region＇s natural elements,there is a close relationship between socio- economic factors, are the foundations of regional sustainable development. In the arid region of Northwest China, because every mountain-OASIS-desert system structure is simple,fragile ecosystems and landscape characteristics of significant differences, sensitive to environmental changes, the regional sustainable development under serious threat. Articles in LUCC study on the concept and content, based on overview of the relationship between LUCC and regional sustainable development. Based on the natural characteristics of the different systems in arid regions, sets out the relationship between LUCC and regional sustainable development in different periods ,which discusses the characteristics of LUCC in arid area based on,implementation of the regional sustainable.
