Status of Corn Industry in Shanxi Province and Its Development Idea

玉米是重要的饲料、工业原料和粮食作物,在农业生产和国民经济发展中占有重要的地位。玉米产量水平直接关系到山西粮食安全及农业可持续发展步伐,了解山西玉米产业现状及存在的问题,对制定玉米生产发展对策具有重要的现实意义。针对近年来山西玉米生产现状,分析了目前制约山西玉米生产的因素,并针对性地提出了发展玉米生产的建议。

Corn is an important feed and industrial raw material and food crop, which all plays increasingly important role in agricultural production and economic development. The production level of corn impacts on Shanxi＇s food security and agricultural sustainable development directly. Therefore, it would be of great practical significance to learn the current status of corn industry and the problems, and make measures to improve the industry. In the paper, the current status and restricting factors of the corn production in Shanxi was reviewed and the measures were given.
