金红石型氧化钛代替锐钛矿型氧化钛的应用

Using Rutile as a Substitute for Anatase in Vitreous Enamel

长期以来,国内外都选用价格昂贵的锐钛矿型氧化钛作钛瓷釉的乳浊剂,认为这样才能获得白度高、色相正的搪瓷制品。近年来,成都、重庆、大连、开封等搪瓷厂用廉价的富铁杂质金红石(含Fe_2O_3在1.5～4％)研制出钛白釉、钛彩釉。我厂从1984年以来先后用钛黄粉、人造金红石熔制钛彩釉均获得了成功,取得了明显的经济效益。

Titania enamel is a sort of recrystalline glaze. Its opacity does not depend upon crystal structure of raw materials but on firing process. The author used low-priced rutile-type titania as a substitute for expensive anatase-type titania, and has successfully developed coloured titania enamels by modifying glaze formulation and controlling firing process.
