A simple and fast analytical method based on complexometrio titration has bsen developed by systematic experiments for determining germanium, lead, aluminium, titanium and fluorine in germanate glasses. EDTA complexometric titration is used for determining germanium, lead, aluminium, and the photocolurimatrie method by using hydrogen peroxide in nitric aeid medium is used for titania, while for fluorine the ion selective electrode method could be simply used.
