摘要
具身心智强调的是心智过程并非一种抽象的符号加工,而是根植于身体与世界的互动,离不开身体状态和环境条件。这一概念最初是哲学家对笛卡尔以降心物二元论的反思,是尼采、梅洛-庞蒂等人对贬低或忽略身体的西方意识哲学的反动。20世纪后期以来,由于镜像神经元的发现,具身心智逐渐成为认知神经科学探讨的重要主题。
What theories of embodied mind emphasized is that rather than detached manipulation of symbols, mental processes is deeply depend- ent on agent＇s physical body and its sensory-motor system, and grounded in the reciprocal relationship between body and the world. Originally, it was a reaction against the dualism since Descartes, but after 20 century, due to the discovery of mirror neuron, embodied mind has become a subject matter for cognitive neuroscience.
