河南文化强省战略已实施多年,但并未从各省共同致力的文化强省战略的竞争中脱颖而出。之所以出现这样的窘境,其中一个十分重要的原因就在于未能立足本省历史文化的实际,从中抽绎出一个既贯穿本省历史文化,又符合当前经济发展需要的崭新理念,以作为河南省文化强省战略的旗帜。老子是中华文化的元祖之一,也是中州文化最杰出的代表,积极加强老学研究,认真打造老子形象,不仅有利于更新河南省在文化强省建设方面的思想观念,而且对其他行业的弃旧图新也同样具有重要助推作用。

The strong cultural province strategy in Henan have been carried out for many years, but in this way our province isn＇t better than the others who have all committed himself to the building of their strong cultural province too. Of the reasons why this happened, the very important one is that we couldn＇t inferred a new idea basing on the historical culture of our province as the banner of our strong cultural province strategy, which not only run through the historical culture of our province, but also accorded with the needs of economic advance at present. Laozi are both one of the founders of Chinese culture and the most outstanding representative of Centre-China culture, so it will be in favor of cleaning up the conservative consciousness in the aspect of prospering Henan＇s culture to earnestly forge Laozi＇s image.
