Review of the modern history of Henan Opera since the founding of new China

河南是地方戏曲的渊薮,素有"戏曲大省"之称。建国以来,河南近代戏曲史研究一直为学界所关注,成果颇丰,主要体现在对剧种、地域流派以及其他方面的研究。然而,关于河南近代戏曲史的研究也存在诸多问题,主要体现在研究内容、研究理论方法和资料建设等方面。随着上述问题的逐步解决,河南近代戏曲史的研究定会达到一个更高的层次,对推动河南戏曲文化事业的发展大有裨益。

Henan, the hotbed of local opera, is well known as a famous province of opera. Since the founding of new China, the academic world has paid more attention to its modern history, including the species of opera, regional factions, as well as other aspects. Besides, the academic world has made many achievements. However, there are a large amount of problems on the research of modern Henan Opera, which are mainly reflected in some aspects such as the research content, theoretical methods and the construction of data. With the above-mentioned problems solved, it is believed that the study on modern Henan Opera can reach a higher level, which will be a great benefit to the development of Henan Opera.
