This paper introduces the technique used in dc leakage test of the generator and analysis of the tested data in the Dalian development zone thermal powe.r plant of Guodian Power Corporation. The paper mainly illustrates the the- oretical basis of dc leakage test in double-water internal cooling generator, basic requirements, test equipment, test methods and procedures, data analysis, etc. The test data shows that the leakage current of the generator is higher than the normal value, and three phase leakage current appears fluctuating. According to the test data and its analysis, this paper puts forward the improvement measures as the technology support to ensure the economical operation and safety of the generator.
