Using network convergence to achieve full-service access has become an inevitable trend of the access net- work. EPON technique is becoming the preferred technique gradually in the fiber access times because of its obvious advantages in the access speed, bandwidth efficiency, splitting ratio, the load-bearing capacity of whole business and security. EPON network takes fiber optics as the transmission medium, uses Ethernet protocol as its network transmis- sion protocol, and applies the PON topology to realize the integrated services of data, voice and video access.
