建国初期，我国急于发展经济，改变贫困落后的面貌，参照“苏联模式”建立起高度集中的计划经济体制，它曾为我国的社会主义建设事业做出了巨大贡献。随着社会经济的发展，这种体制严重束缚了生产力的发展。十一届三中全会以后，邓小平等领导同志总结国内外社会主义建设经验，结合我国的基本国情，对社会主义本质进行了重新认识，推行改革开放，最终建立起了社会主义市场经济体制。30多年来，我国经济快速增长，综合实力日益提升，取得了举世瞩目的成就。

In the early years of the Republic, China was eager to develop economy, changed the appearance that lagged behind miserably, and established the highly centralized planned economic system, referring to ＂the Soviet Union mode＂, which contributed greatly to China＇ s socialist construction. With the development of society and economy, this system, however, severely constrained the development of productive forces. After the Third Plenary Meeting of the Eleventh Central Committee, the leaders such as Deng Xiaoping summarized the experience of socialist construction, recognized again the essence of socialism based on China＇ s national conditions, carried out reform and opening up, and eventually built system of socialist market economy. Over the past 30 years, China＇ s rapid economic growth and comprehensive strength rising have gained the success that attracts worldwide attention.
