Verdi is Italy＇s most distinguished opera composer in the nineteenth century. His classic masterpiece La Traviata is adored by music lovers all over the world. The aria ＂Ah, I am eager to see＂ in the first act sung by the heroine Weiaolieta demonstrates fully Verdi＇ s unique writing style and charm with its beautiful melody. This paper analyses in details this aria from the aspects of singing tips and music analysis based on the singing and teaching experience.
