The Master and Margaret is the most important work of Mikhail Bulgakov,a Russian Writer,and is regarded as one of the most influential magic realistic masterpieces.The novel combines reality and myth,and reveals the themes like ＂rewarding the right and punishing the wrong＂.One reason for its success is that it absorbs themes,plots,scenes images,skills and style of western classical works,which makes it full of history and reality.This paper studies the relationship between the novel and western literature and culture from four aspects,and get some helpful experience.
