It may be confirmed that the thought of history as a mirror has a clear expression in the Du Tong Jian Lun with distinct characteristics .This is reflected in the emphasis on the importance of historiography, the self-consciousness of the thought of history as a mirror, the dialectical method of interpretation, and its wide range of content. The content of organically rich thought of history as a mirror reveals the value of history to the society and individuals.
