Since the reform and opening-up in China, with the rapid development of the civil engineering and architecture industry, the civil engineering and architecture market has initially formed. The rapid development of the civil engineering and architecture industry has revealed many problems at the same time. Among them, the accidents of civil engineering happened frequently have led to the great loss for the enterprise, the country and the people. In this paper, the current situations and characteristics of the accidents of civil engineering are analysed in depth, and the causes of the accidents of civil engineering are analyzed roundly, and the countermeasures of the accidents of civil engineering are put forward.
