在城乡统筹发展和城镇化进程中,民间工艺的生存土壤发生了巨大变化,大多数传统民间工艺美术品濒临灭绝,其保护与开发正面临前所未有的挑战.理顺传承与创新、艺术与生活、艺术与技术、艺术与市场的相互关系,在传承中创新,将高雅融入生活,打造集传承、生产、旅游、展览、购物为一体的非物质文化遗产基地,整合资源,设计合理的产业链,使民间工艺在产业化中得到活态保护,在市场化中得到发展.对"刘氏竹编"工艺美术品的传承、保护与开发进行研究和阐述,以期对巴渝工艺美术品的保护传承有所裨益.

The changes of people＇s life style and social demand have been taking place in the process of overall plan and urbani- zation. The soil for the existence of the civil arts have been destroyed so as to the verge of extinction. For the inheritance, protec- tion and development, the relationship between heritage and innovation, art and life, art and technology and art and market should be dealt with well and then the base of intangible cultural heritage should be built characteristic with the carrier of inherit- ance, production, tourism, display and shopping. The study on the inheritance, protection and development of ＂Liu＇s Bamboo Utensils＂ does good to the art work in Bayu area.
