京剧是我国独有的一门民族艺术,京剧脸谱是京剧不可分割的一部分,因此,京剧脸谱具有中国文化独特的内涵与意义.将脸谱艺术作为现代设计的造型元素,并结合现代表现手法运用到设计中,则形象独特,内涵丰富,并具有时代感.从京剧脸谱的形、色等特征探究其在平面设计中的表现手法和运用,不仅可以丰富平面设计的艺术语言,而且对京剧这种民族艺术的传承也有着深刻的现实意义.
