摘要
βB2晶体蛋白是β族晶体蛋白中含量最多的一种,是脊椎动物眼晶状体中的主要蛋白成分之一,对维持晶状体的透明性和屈光度起主要作用。近年来,研究发现βB2基因不仅在晶状体内表达,而且在晶状体外也有高表达,并行使一定功能,尤其对生殖功能有重要影响。βB2晶体蛋白在晶状体外的功能及相关作用机制成为研究的新热点。该文就βB2晶体蛋白在晶状体内外的功能及可能作用机制进行探讨,以期加深对特殊晶体蛋白新特性的了解。
βB2-crystallin is the most abundant in the β family crystallin and constitutes the major portion of the vertebrate eye lens,which plays a major role in the maintenance of lens transparency and refraction.In recent years,βB2 gene has also been shown to be expressed in some extralenticular tissues,where it plays certain roles and in particular has a major impact on reproduction.The function and the mechanism of β B2-crystallin in the lens and extralenticular tissues have been the focus of recent studies.Here is to make a review on recent progresses in the understanding of the function and the possible mechanism of βB2-crystallin.
