农民工随迁子女进城读书带来的社会新问题——关于中国农民工问题的教育社会学思考之一

New social problems caused by the reality of migrant workers' children going to school in cities

我国目前2亿多农民工的几千万随迁子女进城读书,引发了一系列的社会新问题,主要体现在:流入地政府财政压力增大,挤占了其他行业的财政资源;农民工随迁子女难以融入城市社会,形成城市社会边缘群体;流入地城市社会刑事案件增加,影响城市社会和谐稳定;城市家长、农民工家长均不满政府政策,政府左右为难。

At present,the fact that millions upon millions of children of more than two millions of migrant workers are going to school in the cities where they are working brings about a series of new problems to the society: The local government has greater financial pressure because it takes up the financial resources of other professions;the migrant workers' children become the marginal groups because they have some difficulty in integrating themselves with the urban society;the criminal cases increase in these cities and influence the harmony and stability of the society;the government is in a dilemma because the urban parents are not satisfied with the governmental policies,neither are the migrant parents.
