An Insight into the Connotations of Marxist Sinicization,Modernization and Popularization

党的十八大重申推进马克思主义中国化时代化大众化的重要性。如何理解马克思主义中国化时代化大众化是重要的理论和实践问题,在三者的内涵理解上不能有偏差。在中国化问题上,主要是马克思主义"化"中国的问题;在时代化问题上,主要是如何理解时代的问题;在大众化问题上,主要是如何明确人民群众的主体地位问题。理解三者内涵的关键是坚持正确的马克思主义观,坚持科学的方法才能科学地理解马克思主义的创新发展。

The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has reiterated the importance of advancing the cause of Marxist sinicization, modernization and popularization, a correct understanding of whose connotations is of both theoretical and practical necessities therefore. In terms of understanding the sinicization of Marxism, empha- sis should be laid upon how Marxist theories apply and adapt to the actual conditions of China. With regard to its modernization, attention should be centered on how tO comprehend issues relevant to the times. In order to have a better understanding of the popularization of Marxism, the subjective status of the masses as masters of society must be clarified. Conclusively, the key to understanding the sinicization, modernization and popularization of Marxism lies in adherence to a correct and scientific outlook on Marxism, that is, only by employing scientific approach to Marxism can we have a deeper and scientific understanding of its innovation and development in China.
