The dam of Tanghe Hydroelectric Power Station is located in Lingqiu County of Shanxi Province.Along the dam’s axis and in order of position from left bank to right bank,there is gravity dam section,sluice dam section and concrete facing rockfill dam section.After the concrete facing slab had been completed,it was discovered that many cracks occurred on some parts of the facing slab.These cracks had been treated.The paper introduces the treatment methods of inside filling and outside closing,including construction process,construction technique,performance of water seal materials and the matters needing attention in construction.
