摘要
近九十年前,张耀翔先生运用实证方法科学分析《三字经》,并称其为"六百年来最有势力的小学教科书",引起学界瞩目。关于《三字经》究竟是不是理想的教科书,陈东原等人与张先生进行了一场教育论争。虽时过境迁,但价值犹存,从中可见当时对教科书与文化的理解以及实证方法的局限。同时这场论争对于今日的"读经教育"争议,也具有一定的启发性意义。
About 90 years ago, Zhang Yaoxiang used an empirical approach to analysis the book of Three Character Primer. He called this book as the most influencing primary textbook in the last 600 years, which attracted the attention of academic circle. Chen Dongyuan and other people controverted the question, whether Three Character Primer is a perfect textbook or not, with Zhang Yaox- lang. As of today, we can see people' s understanding of textbook and the limitation of empirical approach from this controversy. Mean- while, we can get some new ideas in order to realize today' s Reading Classics.
