试谈材料数据库的现状、发展及对策

The Present Status, Development and Countermeasure of the Materials Database

材料数据库作为数据库技术发展的一个重要分支,自60年代以来已在一些技术发达国家相继建立。进入80年代后,数据库已逐步走向网络化、现代化和商品化,对社会和科技领域发挥着更为重要的作用。随着材料科学、信息工程和计算机技术的飞速发展,材料数据库系统设计、软件开发以及管理水平都正向着更高层次发展。本文讨论了国内外材料数据库的现状和发展,并根据我国国情提出了一些建库和开发方面的对策。

The materials database as an important branch of database technique has been set up in some developed countries since 1960's. During 1980's, it has been entering into networking, modernization and computerization, and playing an important role to the society and technology area. With the rapid development of materials science, information engineering and computer technique ,the systematic design, software and management of materials database are developing towards a higher level. The present status and the development of materials database both at home and abroad are discussed in this paper, some of the possible countermeasure for establishment and development of the database in accordance with the practical situation of China are presented as well.
