综述 90年代杉木研究在病虫害、材性及加工利用方面的进展情况 .并对今后杉木研究的重点和方向进行了探讨 :包括杉木林的可持续经营、栽培制度、杉木人工林的生产潜力、多目标选育种。

This paper summarized the Chinese fir research development on disease and insect controlling, wood property, wood processing and utilization In the end the research direction for Chinese fir are put forward : 1)The theories and methods of improving the potential productivity for Chinese fir. 2) Reforming the actual silvicultural regime suffered artificial disturbance excessively,and establishing ecological cultivation practices. 3) Multi aimed breeding researches;breeding of both high in growth and wood property,both high in growth and fiber content,the species and clones of fine property of resistance(disease,insect,barrenness). 4)The optimum cultivation patterns for different kinds of timber and mixed forest patterns. 5)The decline mechanism of plantation productivity and the way of sustainable management 6)Wood utilization,especially the development and utilization of middle and small diameter timber 7)The relative basic researches:biology,pedology,physiological ecology,genegics etc.
