从“汉化”到“回化”:泉州回族认同问题再讨论

From Hanization to Huization:Re-visiting Quanzhou Hui Identity Issues

泉州回族在历史上经历了从先民的穆斯林身份,明朝以后作为穆斯林后裔、汉族身份及其认同,再到新中国成立后的回族身份及其认同的历史转变过程。与关于历史上泉州回族"汉化"问题的讨论相比较,"政治建构论"和"心灵守望说"两种讨论泉州回族"回化"问题的范式存在将这一过程简化论述的倾向。泉州回族的"回化"像"汉化"过程一样,并非是某种因素主要建构的结果,而是一种历史发展的逻辑过程。民族认同问题也必须被放入历史的脉络中进行具体分析。思维的逻辑应当反映历史发展过程的内在必然性。

Quanzhou Hui people have experienced the transformation of identities from a historical Muslim identity, then, after the Ming dynasty, being regarded as Muslim descendants and Han, and then being regarded again as Hui after the founding of the PRC. In comparing the discussions on Quanzhou Hui＇ s historical Hanization, the two paradigms of ＇political constructivism＇ and ＇spiritual watch theory＇ on Quanzhou Hui identity issues have the tendency of oversimplifying the historical process. Like the Hanization, the Huinization is not the result of one contributing factor, but rather is a logical process of historical development. The issues of ethnic identity must be discussed in the specific historical context. The logic of thinking should reflect the intrinsic necessity of the process of historical development.
