青海高校英语专业教育中本土文化失语问题研究

A Study of Native Culture Aphasia in College English Major Education in Qinghai

在文化全球化及全球语境的背景下,不仅需要大量通晓外国语言与文化的复合型人才,更需要熟谙母语与本土文化的高素质人才。而我国外语教学中普遍存在着一个问题,即"本土文化失语现象"。本文从教学大纲、课程设置、教材内容,教学方法等方面对青海高校英语专业教育中本土文化失语现象及其原因进行了较深入的调查与分析,并提出了相关建议。

In the background of cultural globalization and global context, we urgently need numerous inter-disciplinary talents who not only have a good command of the foreign language and culture, but the native language and culture as well. However, a phenomenon named Native Culture Aphasia commonly exits in college English education in China. Through a survey among some college English teachers teaching English majors in Qinghai, this paper is to analyze the causes of native culture aphasia in college English teaching from the aspect of teaching curriculum, course setting, teaching material and teaching method and, as a solution, to put forward some specific suggestions to lead in the native culture in English teaching .
