Numerical Simulation of Roll Forming for the Edge Protection Strips of the Steel Coil Based on ABAQUS

通过有限元数值分析软件ABAQUS对外铁护圈的波浪边辊弯成形进行了数值模拟,并研究总结出外铁护圈直径与成形参数之间的关系,揭示了护圈成形的本质规律,为外铁护圈自动成形设备的研发提供了技术基础。

This paper layout the natural relationship between form diameter of edge protection strips and forming parameters by researched on the bending circle process, which simulated by nonlinear finite element analysis software ABAQUS. And this research provides the solid technical foundation for the angle profiling system for the manufacture of edge protection strips.
