Based on the database of cotton boil spoiling disease in Xinxiang for many years, an computerized intelligent expert system was established using artificial neural network. With its speediness,robustness and 100% predicting ac- curacy, the system can be used as an effective auxiliary method to predict the trend of crop diseases.
