The Translation of Intertextuality in Zhang Zhen-yu's Moment in Peking

互文性在翻译实践中发挥着重要的作用,译者张振玉在翻译《京华烟云》时充分理解了其英文原作中的互文现象并把他们还原为中文,分为原作中的中国习语的还原和文学引语主要是《庄子》引语的还原,此外,译者还创造性地运用中文中的结构性互文性对译文做了处理,包括中国传统小说体例的运用和汉语四字结构的使用,使中文译文更符合中国读者的习惯和心理,增加其在中国读者中的接受度。

Intertextuality plays an important role in the translation practice.In the process of translation of Moment in Peking,the translator Zhang Zhenyu transforms the intertextual factors in the English source text into Chinese,including the translation of the Chinese idioms and literary allusions of Chuang tzu.Besides,the translator creatively use constitutive intertextual resources in the process of the translation from English to Chinese,including the use of the structure of Chinese traditional novel and four-character words,which makes the translation version more acceptable for the Chinese readers.
