中国古代画论中的“天机”说

Discourse of "sth. Inexplicable like Nature's Mystery" in Ancient Chinese Painting Theory

"天机"是中国艺术理论中一个有重要意义的概念,在画论中更是一个颇为特殊的价值范畴。本文专论古代画论中的"天机"说,钩辑了从唐代到清代若干有代表性的有关"天机"的画论,并且进行了客观的分析。本文认为,"天机"并非只是"来不可遏,去不可止"的灵感思维,而是画家作为审美主体的灵性与外在物象偶然遇合的产物。"天机"体现了一种绘画批评的价值判断,是指能够创造出独一无二的杰作的创作契机。"天机"不是静态的,而是有着强烈的审美势能。"天机"蕴含着宇宙造化的生命感。

＂Sth inexplicable like nature＇ s mystery＂ is a significant concept of Chinese art theory, especially in paint- ing theory. In this paper, we study representative discourses of it and analyze it objectively. ＂Sth inexplicable like nature ＇ s mystery＂ is not an inspiration thinking people could not grasp, but it is incidental meet between painters ＇ inner mind and outer images. It is a creative opportunity guiding painters to create masterpieces. It is not static but a strong aesthetic energy which contains a universal sense of life.
