摘要
随着中国旅游业的迅速发展,旅游市场急需一批熟悉旅游业务,具有良好的沟通能力和组织能力,能以英语为工具从事旅游工作的复合型专业人才。旅游英语专业正是为培养这类人才而设置的新型专业。酒店管理课程是旅游英语专业的主干课程,因此该课程的教材选择、教学内容、教学方法、考核方式直接影响到学生对其专业的认知程度及对专业理论的理解掌握和应用。
With the rapid development of China's tourism industry,there is a great need for the tourism industry to hire a group of professionals to engage in it.These potential employees must be familiar with the tourism business,have good communication and organizational skills,and be able to speak English as a tool for the tourism complex.Tourism English is a brand new major set for the training of these personnel.Hotel management is the main course of Tourism English,so selecting a practical textbook,designing the proper course content and teaching methods,together with adapting the effective assessment methods will directly affect students' understanding and application of the related theories to practice.
