Henry David Thoreau（1817-1862） is the 19th century American transcendentalism writer,Naturalist and the pioneer of modern environmentalism.Walden condenses the ecological wisdom and philosophy of life in Thoreau＇s life time which reflected his love and admiration for nature.Walden with its rich ecological connotation,is considered as the classic ecological literature.Through the ecological perspective on Walden,of which embodies the romantic,transcendental and overall harmonious ecological views,this paper attempts to interpret the ecological views respectively.We can experience the author＇s forward-looking ecological humanistic spirit in the work.
