To celebrate International Women＇s Day （on March 8）, the Heilongjiang （in Northeast China） Department of Public Security and the provincial women＇s federation on March 7 held, in Harbin （Heilongjiang＇s capital）, an event to commend 10 outstanding wives of police officers. Sun Yongbo, the province＇s Deputy Governor, and Wu Hua, Vice-President of Heilongjiang Women＇s Federation, attended the conference and gave speeches.
