This article reviews the research development in carrot tissue culture and genetic transformation at home and abroad, discusses major factors that have an immediate effect on the construction of carrot genetic transformation system, and summarizes the system construction approaches and procedures in a bid to provide theoretic reference for establishing system of carrot tissue culture and plant regeneration.
