摘要
学术谱系研究有助于加深对科学的内部结构、运行方式以及学术传统的理解。本文探讨了唐敖庆谱系的产生与发展过程,对其成果产出进行了系统描述,并将之与日本福井谦一谱系进行了对比分析。结果表明,唐敖庆谱系的产出高峰期约晚于福井谦一谱系15年,且成果产出和杰出人才产出均低于后者,而导致这种结果出现的主要原因是学术自主性的匮乏及外部因素对学术方向的影响。
The study of academic genealogy affords us a special and important approach to deepen the understandings of internal structure of scientific community, operation ways of science and sci- entific traditions. This paper gives a comparative study on the academic production of Tang Auchin Genealogy in China and Fukui Kenichi Genealogy in Japan in the field of theoretical chemistry. The result shows that the academic productivity peak of Tang Auchin Genealogy appears about fifteen years later than Fukui Kenichi Genealogy, and that both academic output and first-class talents of Tang Auchin Genealogy are lower than Fukui Kenichi Genealogy. The weakness of the Chinese ge- nealogy in comparison to the Japanese genealogy most probably is due to the deficiency of autonomy of scholarship and the intervention on academic directions by external factors.
