Acquisition of English pronunciation is the foundation for students＇ English oral skills; there- fore,pronunciation teaching needs to be stressed in college English teaching. Dialects have negative transfer effects on the English pronunciation. This paper attempts to make a detailed analysis of the pronunciation errors,and correspondingly put forward a series of teaching strategies and programs,helping students to im- prove their pronunciation.
