The Impact of Industrial Convergence on The Market Structure of China's Logistics Industry——An Empirical Study with Partial Least Square Method

文章运用偏最小二乘法(PLS),采用1998-2011年物流业相关数据实证分析了产业融合、市场壁垒、物流需求、技术创新等因素对物流市场结构的影响。研究结果表明,我国物流产业内部融合对市场集中度影响显著,培育壮大综合型物流企业,促进一体化物流的发展,能够提高物流市场集中度,增强物流企业的竞争力。市场壁垒的缺失,物流市场容量和需求不断扩大的同时企业创新能力不足是造成我国物流市场集中度低、服务产品单一、市场竞争激烈的重要原因之一。

We do an empirical study on the influencing factors of the logistics market structure, by Partial Least Square Method. The results show that the internal integration of the logistics industry significantly affect the market concentration, and fostering the growth of integrated logistics enterprise could promote the development of integrated logistics and improve logistics market concentration, and enhance the competitiveness of logistics enterprises. And the lack of market barriers, the logistics market capacity and demand continues expand, but the enterprise lack of innovation ability is one of the important reasons for the low China＇s logistics market concentration.
