This paper introduces the harm to the human body of iodine deficiency and the prevention measures of the countries and the prevention efficient from the need to the iodine of human body and the effect of iodine. The measures and the related policy of preventing iodine difieieney disorders in China is introducced and specific measures are proposed according to the complex of preventing iodine deficiency disorders.
