The Ratio of Patent Granted、Technology Innovation and Economic Performance——An Empirical Test of Patent Contract Theory

分析了发明专利授权率对技术创新和经济绩效的影响,利用协整分析发现专利授权率与经济绩效存在长期正向关系,但与技术创新没有长期关系。经济绩效与专利授权率之间存在单向因果关系,仅后者是前者的Granger原因。同时,经济绩效和技术创新与专利授权率之间都存在倒U型曲线关系,随着专利授权率的提高,经济绩效和技术创新能力都会先增加,但在授权率超过临界点之后开始下降。

This paper explores the impact of patent granted ratio on technology innovation and economic performance. Using cointegration analysisa long - run relationship is found between patent granted ratio and economic performance, but not found between patent granted ratio and technology innovation. There is one - way causal relationship between economic per- formance and patent granted ratio and patent granted ratio is main causation of economic performance. There is an inverted U - shaped relationship between economic performance and patent granted ratio and also an inverted U - shaped relationship between technology innovation and patent granted ratio. Economic performance and technology innovation will increase first then decrease as the ratio of patent granted rises.
