The paper was analyzed relevant factors led to the increase of the energy consumption of thermal power enterpris- es, and put forward that energy-saving and consumption reducing was inevitable trend of production and transformation of power generation. Thermal power energy saving should focus on the use of raw materials and energy-saving of electrical con- trol systems, which play striking energy-saving effect.
